Supporting the RNLI Lifeboat Station

ST GEORGE'S HOTEL MAKES MAJOR DONATION TO RNLI

Llandudno's St George's Hotel has donated £17,000 towards the cost of the resort's new RNLI lifeboat station at Craig y Don.

In March this year the Hotel hosted an 'Evening of Rugby' dinner with Warren Gatland OBE in its prestigious Wedgwood Suite, an event attended by over 180 guests. The function was held just prior to the final weekend of the Six Nations championships and before Warren left for New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions tour.

The evening, which also included a grand charity auction with a rugby and sporting theme raised just over £17,000, all of which has been donated to the RNLI.

Llandudno's Lifeboat Operations Manager, Capt Marcus Elliot said 'St George's Hotel is a long-standing supporter of the lifeboat service, and we are most appreciative of this substantial contribution towards the cost of our new lifeboat station. We are particularly grateful for the generosity and support of everyone who helped raise this magnificent sum'.
