Banking Facilities

The closest bank branch to the St George’s Hotel in Llandudno is NatWest, located at 62 Mostyn St, just a 1-minute drive or short walk from the hotel.

The nearest banks and cash points can be found in Llandudno town centre, including branches on Mostyn Street, approximately a short distance from the hotel. For specific directions or assistance locating the nearest ATM or banking services, please contact Reception who will be happy to help.

Baby Cots

We have a limited amount of baby cots and are happy to provide a cot on request. Please let us know if you require a cot on booking and if you will be providing your own bedding or wish to use ours.

Car Hire & Electric Charging

Enterprise Car and Van Hire is located on Llandudno Junction, and can be contacted on 01492 593380 .

St George’s Hotel was the first hotel in Llandudno and one of only a few businesses in North Wales to have an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station installed.

Residents of the hotel will be charged Ā£30 per night (between 3pm – 11am) to charge their vehicle. On arrival at the hotel please check-in with reception who will issue you with an RFID tag that will allow you to charge your vehicle. (A Ā£10 charge for the RFID tag will be added to your room account, which will be removed when the tag is returned).

If you would like to request an EV parking space please call us onĀ 01492 877544Ā or emailĀ reception@stgeorgeswales.co.uk. Due to the strictly limited parking, EV parking spaces may not always be available.

Car Parking

Parking is available on site and charged at Ā£7.50 for 24 hours. Parking is on a ā€œfirst-come, first-serveā€ basis. In our rear car park, we can accommodate up to approximately 31 cars (including 2 Disabled Spaces). There is plenty of on-street parking in the area and is usually free of charge after 4pm.

Please note that vehicles parked in our car park are done so at the owner’s risk.

Check out Times

To allow us to have rooms ready for arriving guests, we ask that you vacate your room by 11am.

Early check in and/or Late Check out is available to you for a £20 charge per bedroom.

We consider St George’s Hotel to be a family venue, however, we request that children should always be supervised.

Dental and Doctor Emergencies

If you require a dentist, please contact Reception or, if you prefer to contact a dentist directly, nearby dental surgeries in Llandudno include Mostyn Dental Practice on 01492 876544 and Llandudno Dental Centre on 01492 860250.

If you feel unwell, please call Reception who can arrange medical assistance if necessary. If you wish to seek advice directly, please contact NHS 111, available 24 hours a day, or visit Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital for urgent care and emergency services.

Dog Friendly

St George’s Hotel is delighted to welcome dogs as overnight guests all year-round, offering a relaxing retreat right on the Llandudno waterfront. Enjoy stunning coastal walks together, with both the Great Orme and beachside strolls just steps away.

Our team has ensured fresh water bowls throughout the hotel, and our bar is stocked with delicious treats for your furry friends to enjoy. To make sure your pup has a comfortable stay, please let our Reservations Team know in advance, and we’ll allocate a dog-friendly room just for you! Dogs are welcome for Ā£25 per night, subject to availability. Reservations must be made in advance.

Dress Code

St George’s Llandudno is your home from home so we don’t believe in strict dress codes. As long as you’re relaxed and comfortable, we’re happy. We do sometimes have dress codes for events which can be found on their specific FAQ’s.

Fire

Detailed plans of your escape route are located near your bedroom door. Please make sure that you know the most direct route out to the Fire Point at the front of the hotel, before you retire for the night.

If you discover a fire, please break the clear plastic panel on the nearest call point. Please do not try to tackle a fire yourself.

Please note that by law we are required to test the fire alarm once a week. We do this at 11am every Tuesday and this should last for 10 seconds.

Florist

We have several recommended florists. If you would like to place an order, please contact reception and we will happily arrange this for you.

During weekends and busy periods we may need up to 48 hours notice of your requirements.

The closest petrol station to St George’s Hotel is located on Mostyn Broadway in Llandudno, just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, with additional fuel stations available in nearby Llandudno Junction and Colwyn Bay.

Service Charge

We are extremely proud of our team, all of whom work incredibly hard. Whether working behind the scenes or front of house everyone contributes to make your experience as special as possible. This is why we have introduced a discretionary service charge which will be added to your invoice on check out. The charge will be distributed to all our team members. If you would prefer for this charge to be omitted from your invoice, please just let us know on check out.

Welsh Mountain Zoo

We are very fortunate to have the wonderful Welsh Mountain Zoo just a short drive from the hotel, overlooking Colwyn Bay with stunning views across the North Wales coastline.

Home to a wide variety of animals from around the world, including snow leopards, red pandas, sea lions and chimpanzees, it makes a fantastic day out for families and animal lovers alike.
