Prestigious Llandudno Hotel Announces Major Enhancements, New Partnerships, and Exciting Developments for 2026

St George’s Hotel is delighted to unveil a series of significant improvements and community‑focused initiatives set to elevate the guest experience and strengthen local partnerships throughout 2026.

Community & Refurbishment

Strengthening Community Ties with the Lions Club

In a collaboration that reflects the hotel’s commitment to supporting local organisations, St George’s Hotel has partnered with the Lions Club to host all of the charity’s monthly meetings throughout 2026. This partnership reinforces the hotel’s role as a hub for community engagement and charitable activity.

Refurbishment of 12 Guest Bathrooms

As part of its ongoing investment in guest comfort, the hotel has begun a full refurbishment of 12 guest bathrooms. These upgrades include the installation of modern walk‑in showers designed to enhance accessibility, style, and convenience. The project forms part of a wider commitment to continuous improvement across the property.

Major Enhancements & Exciting Developments

Review of Bedroom Categories to Improve Guest Experience

To make the booking process clearer and more intuitive for guests, St George’s Hotel is undertaking a full review of its bedroom types and classifications. This initiative aims to simplify room selection, ensuring guests can easily choose the accommodation that best suits their needs.

New All‑Day Dining Concept: Thyme by The Sea

January will see the launch of an exciting new menu and the opening of the Terrace for all‑day dining. As part of this development, the Terrace will be rebranded as Thyme by The Sea, offering guests a refreshed culinary experience inspired by local flavours and seasonal ingredients.

Elevating Guest Experience

Plans to Expand Outdoor Food & Beverage Spaces

Looking ahead to late spring and early summer, the hotel is preparing a planning application to open its outdoor areas for food and drink service. This expansion will create vibrant new spaces for guests and locals to enjoy alfresco dining with stunning views and a relaxed atmosphere.

Michael Brackney, General manager at St George’s Hotel said: “2026 is shaping up to be a transformative year for us. From strengthening our community partnerships to enhancing our facilities and dining experiences, we are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality for every guest who walks through our doors.”
