1. Stargazing

With the earlier nights that Autumn and Winter bring it’s the perfect place to experience a wonderful view of the nights sky. North Wales is home toĀ Snowdonia International Dark Sky ReserveĀ and is consistently voted one of the most beautiful regions in the world. The whole area is a dark sky delight, with aurora sometimes visible from Penmon on the Isle of Anglesey and fabulous stargazing along the LlÅ·n Peninsula.Gaeaf was thought to be a moment when the veil between the world of the living and the dead was at its thinnest. This led to the belief that spirits could walk among us—much like the more well-known traditions of Mexico’s Day of the Dead.

2. Penderyn Whiskey Tour

Penderyn is the home of Welsh Whisky and brought back distilling to Wales after more than a century. They produce award-winning Welsh whiskies and spirits and export world-wide. Book yourself onto one of their Llandudno Distillery tours or a whisky masterclass, to experience the Welsh spirit, sample a whisky or two and to see what makes Penderyn Distillery so unique.
