The Venue

Weāre delighted to host in our largest function room the Wedgwood Suite up to 180 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 260 for an evening reception! However, we have two other function rooms the Conwy & Menai Suites, which are more suitable for lower numbers, as well as our private dining room the Mostyn Suite for smaller intimate celebrations.

Our car park located at the rear of the hotel is for residents only and is chargeable. Pay & display on the promenade is only between the hours of 10am-4pm. Several local car parks in close vicinity and within walking distance.
No, we don’t offer full exclusive use of the hotel.
We ask that you nominate a trusted guest to take responsibility for securing your gifts and cards at the end of the evening. Any decorations left in the room must be collected by 11am the morning after the wedding. Anything left after this time will be disposed of by the hotel.
Accommodation

We have no restrictions on how many rooms booked & wedding discounted rates are available to all wedding guests, including shoulder dates.
Suitable accommodation can be booked for the night prior & late check outs can be arranged if necessary to provide spaces for getting ready.
Organisation & Timings

Your dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will be with you every step of the way! Prior to your wedding, youāll meet with our Operations.
Access time depends on your ceremony time and hotel activities from the night before. Your Wedding Co-ordinator will work out the best plan for you.
This depends on your specific locations for the ceremony and reception, but donāt worryāour team will plan the timing with you to make sure itās smooth.
Weāll work with you to build the timeline around your ceremony time, which we recommend booking first. Our ideal start time is 1.30 pm, but weāll tailor it to suit your day. See our timeline tips here.
Evening Reception close for both Bar & Entertainment is midnight.
Yes, we can provide contact details for several local firms. Guests can also order a taxi at Reception on the day.

Not at all! Youāre welcome to bring in your own suppliers, though we do ask that they have public liability insurance and PAT certifications.Ā You can see our recommended suppliers here.
No real restrictions however, our Wedgwood Suite is Grade II Listed which means the walls & ceilings cannot be affected in the dressing process.
As the hotel has no grounds, the only option with regards to fireworks would be to contact the local harbourmaster & council to gain the necessary permission for the prom or beach. Confetti is only permitted on the promenade, and we advise that it be biodegradable.
Yes, our Cariad & St Dwynwen Wedding packages include a complimentary menu tasting. If you are on our Intimate Wedding or have a customised bespoke package, just let us know if youād like to add one!
No, we donāt allow external catering for any type of events.
Absolutely! Their setup time will be coordinated with the timeline of your wedding day. PAT Testing & PLI certificates will be required in advance of the event.
You can! A corkage fee applies; let us know if youād like the rates.
We offer card, cash, and room charge options with a pre-authorised card. Just let us know if youād like a full bar tariff. Bar credit facilities for your special day can be arranged.
Yes, we have an AUX plug / iPhone adapter & also have a Bluetooth sound bar available. Weāre happy to test it with you beforehand to ensure everythingās ready.
Booking

You can hold a date for up to 14 days! If another enquiry comes in for the same date during this time, weāll give you a call so you can decide whether to confirm your booking. To secure the date, a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit will need to be received within the 14-day window; otherwise, it will be released.
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £500 is required to confirm your booking.
Interim deposit payment of £500 to be made 6 months prior.
Final balance due on confirmation of final details 4 weeks prior.

Booking Your Date
To confirm your wedding, an initial deposit of Ā£1000 is required. All payments and deposits are nonārefundable and nonātransferable.
Around 9 Months Before ā First Details Appointment
Youāll meet with your Wedding Coāordinator to begin shaping the details of your day. After the meeting, youāll receive an updated contract, rooming list and proforma invoice. These remain estimates and can be adjusted until your final appointment, as long as minimum numbers are met. 50% of your estimated remaining balance is due 8 months before your wedding.
Around 4 Months Before ā Second Details Appointment
A second planning meeting to refine your choices and update your documents again. Youāll receive refreshed versions of your contract, rooming list and proforma invoice. 75% of your estimated remaining balance is due 3 months before your wedding.
6ā3 Months Before ā Menu Tasting
A relaxed and enjoyable tasting to finalise your wedding menu and ensure everything is just right.
Around 6 Weeks Before ā Final Appointment
Your final planning meeting, where all details are confirmed. Youāll receive your final contract, rooming list and proforma invoice. Any reduction in numbers after your final payment will be charged as cancellation fees. Your full remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding.
Within 7 Days of the Wedding ā Master of Ceremonies Handover
A warm handover meeting with the Master of Ceremonies who will run your day. This ensures they understand your plans, timings and personal touches perfectly for the smooth running of your day and so you’re familiar with their friendly face during your wedding day.
Arrival Before the Wedding
Arrive, settle in and unwind. Take a moment to breathe, enjoy the surroundings and ease into the excitement of the days ahead. Maybe use the spa facilities. Enjoy a delicious pre-wedding meal in the Thyme Restaurant or enjoy room service for a relaxed early night.
